This pretty shutter is from Bikaner in Rajasthan, a city that is famous for its fine painting of boxes and the interiors of buildings. It would have been plastered into the wall. These are sometimes used as a built-in cupboard for storage. 
The painted scene depicts the baby Krishna suckling at the breast of his mother Yashoda, whilst the other gopis look on. It dates to the 19th century.
