Old 1920's Kadai - Indian Fire Bowl On Stand From Rajasthan - 79cm
Our old Indian Kadai fire bowls have been hand selected in Rajsthan. Kadais were used as cauldrons for cooking on a large scale at Indian festivals and weddings. They were made by Lohars - itinerant metal workers in Rajasthan by riveting or hammer welding plates of iron together. They have become popular because of their use as fire bowls in Rajasthani Palace hotels in the winter.
Supplied with a stand and grill these medium size kadai are the perfect size for sitting around a log fire at night or for use as a barbecue.
