This pretty carved mirror is made from an original Shekhawati roheda door frame with lacquer beading. Shekhawati is a desert region in Rajasthan well known for its excellent quality of Mughal carving.
These door frames date to the 19th century and have been adapted and fitted with modern mirror glass. As they are reclaimed from buildings they're also environmentally friendly.
This mirror is designed to be hung portrait and comes ready fitted with sturdy hangers.
