Indian chapati boxes were used in the old days as lunch boxes or for packaging up small snacks which the colonials called tiffin. These beautifully characterful boxes provide a stylish alternative to single use plastic for use as lunch boxes or for food presentation at a dinner party.
Chapati boxes come in all sizes, but are generally round in shape, normally engraved with a pattern on the top, these are very decorative.
As our Indian boxes are vintage dating between 50 & 150 years old, they usually have some small marks and dents from original use which adds to their character.
