The octagonal base imitates a low waisted table with shot cabriole legs. Above that is a stylised drum with nail detail. The tringles hanging down imitate a draped cloth decorated with foliate detail.
Made in Hebei, China, this hand carved base features stylised scrolls, and lotus petals.
Though newly made, the stone has been carefully finished to replicate the weathered character of antique originals.
