This old colonial Indian book cabinet dates to circa 1910. It is constructed from teak wood, and this style of cabinet was used in Indian government offices across India. Perfect for a storage cabinet or for large books. This style of cabinet generally comes from Gujarat.
The cabinet has double doors which open to reveal two teak wood shelves. It has been sympathetically restored in our workshop and has retained its original brass hardware and fabulous patina.
