Gilded Bronze Statue Of Manjushri

Gilded Bronze Statue Of Manjushri

This reproduction bronze Manjushri statue holds his sword high in his right hand and sits on a lotus throne. Manjushri is the bodhisattva of wisdom and his full name literally means 'Manjushri, still a youth'. His sword is used to cut away all delusion.

This is an excellent quality reproduction copy of a museum exhibit cast in bronze and made in the Tibetan style. The style is reminiscent of pieces made during the reign of the Yongle emperor who reigned between 1360 - 1424.
