Pointed Leather Hat Box From Shanghai - 19th Century
These beautiful old leather hat boxes were made for the storage of Chinese officials hats or storage of Chinese hats that were used for special occasions. They are from the mid 19th century, each has an old brass lock and are constructed from stained and lacquered leather. Both are lined with the original blue cotton fabric inside.
