Chinese Caned Bench Qing Dynasty - Ca 1910
This antique Chinese bench was made by a master craftsman at the end of the Qing dynasty. It's a beautiful inception and gracefully merges the Ming & Qing styles. With carved and pierced panels decorated with stylised baoxiang hua in an ogival with the classical hornless Chi dragon with the foliate tail on both sides.
