
Carved Indian Parath Bowl From Kerala - 19thC
Paraths were used as mixing bowls for making chapatti and paratha - they are found all over India. The wooden paraths are carved from a single piece of timber and are usually made from teak or acacia wood - our parath bowls are mostly 19thC or late 20thC and have wonderful patina which comes from frequent use over many years.
