Salvaged from a building fallen into disrepair in the desert state of Rajasthan, this Indian lintel would have been used above a door and depicts the Hindu elephant god Ganesh in the centre. He is framed by intricately chip carved mandalas. This particular piece dates from the 19th century and would look fabulous on a wall or above a mantle piece.
